Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
- WiredIn is free to use. Glow and the things you get with it only exist in the app and have no money value.
- Play fair: no scripts, bots or tricks to get glow.
- Your notes and goals are yours. You can leave at any time and delete everything.
These terms apply to your use of WiredIn, an independently operated focus app based in the United States. By using WiredIn you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use WiredIn
You need to be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
2. Your account
- As a guest, your room lives with this browser’s sign-in. Clearing your browser’s data, or using another device, can lose it. Create an account (email or Google) to keep your room safe and open it anywhere.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Don’t use someone else’s account, and don’t sell or give away yours.
3. Glow and the things you get with it
- Glow, and the furniture, looks and other things you get with it, are part of the app. They have no money value, can’t be exchanged for money, and can’t be sold, traded or moved to another account.
- What you get with glow is yours to use in WiredIn, for as long as WiredIn runs.
- We may correct glow or items that came from a bug, a mistake or breaking these terms. If we change your glow by hand, the reason shows in your glow history.
- We may change prices, rewards and how glow is earned, to keep the app fair and fun.
- Glow packs. In the online version you can buy glow with money. Everything in the Shop can also be earned by focusing: a pack only gets you there sooner. Payments are handled by Stripe. Checkout shows the final price and any applicable tax before you pay.
- The glow is added to your room as soon as the payment goes through, so a purchase can’t be cancelled once the glow is there, except where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund. If something went wrong with a payment, contact us and we’ll put it right.
- If a payment is refunded or charged back, the glow it bought is taken back (as much as is left in your room).
- Bought glow is glow like any other: it has no money value, and deleting your account or starting over deletes it too.
- Ads. You can choose to watch a short ad for a little glow, a few times a day. Glow from ads counts towards the daily limit on earned glow. The ads come from Google; we don’t choose them.
4. Gift codes
- Gift codes give glow. Each code works once per person, and can have a limit on how many people use it, or an end date.
- Codes have no money value and can’t be sold. We may turn off a code at any time, for example if it is shared in ways it was not meant for.
- Glow from codes gathered with bots, extra accounts or other tricks can be taken back.
5. Play fair
Please don’t:
- use scripts, bots or automated tools, or change the app, to get glow, items or rewards (including pretending to watch ads);
- try to get into other people’s rooms or accounts, or into parts of WiredIn that are not meant for you;
- overload, disrupt or try to gain unauthorized access to WiredIn’s servers;
- use WiredIn for anything illegal.
If someone breaks these rules, we may take back glow or items, or pause or close their account.
6. Your notes and goals
What you write in WiredIn (wall notes, goal names) stays yours. You let us store it and show it back to you so the app works. It is private to you. Don’t write anything illegal in it.
7. The app itself
WiredIn, Pip, the room, the art, the sounds and the code belong to us or the people who made them (see Credits). You may use the app for yourself, not copy it or its content to reuse elsewhere.
8. Changes, and if WiredIn stops
WiredIn keeps changing: features may be added, changed or removed, and sometimes the app may be unavailable. If we plan to close WiredIn, we will provide notice in the app and an opportunity to download your data where reasonably possible.
9. No guarantees
We work hard to keep WiredIn running and your room safe, but the app is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always work or be free of mistakes. WiredIn helps you focus; it is not medical, study or professional advice.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer protections or other rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Leaving
You can stop using WiredIn at any time, and delete your account in the app (Account → Delete my account). When an account is deleted, its glow and items are gone for good.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app when the change matters. Using WiredIn after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Applicable law
These terms apply subject to applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
14. Help
For feature guides, open Settings → Help & tutorial. Your account panel includes controls to download your data or delete your account; guest room data can be deleted in Settings.
